New Pain Research Using CBD
Pain Research for CBD = Hope
If you have pain, current research is showing that CBD may help you out.
Let’s be honest, there’s never a good time to be in pain. But thankfully right now, if you are in pain, there is a LOT of research being done regarding CBD and its ability to alleviate pain. Current evidence shows CBD is a non-toxic, plant-based, and natural way to augment your pain management plan. Evidence showing positive outcomes is only increasing. There is very good reason to have hope for relief in using CBD for pain.
Want to know something rad? There are currently twelve research trials going on that are investigating how CBD works on different kinds of pain from coronavirus infections, panic attacks, topical CBD on joint arthritis and oral CBD for knee osteoarthritis, and CBD’s effect on endometriosis pain! (See here: 2021 Cannabidiol (CBD) Clinical Trials and Research (policylab.us))
These are all NEW studies happening right now and we look forward to the results! We fully expect them to be similar to previous studies:
This is great news for people like you who are looking for other options in their pain management plans or simply manage their pain with natural alternatives.
Research is helping scientists to better understand pain & pain treatments.
We’ve learned through studying our brain and nervous system is that pain is more than just a physical sensation. There are actual pain receptors called “nociceptors” throughout the body. These receptors “tell” your brain what’s wrong. Joke’s on us though, there are NONE in the brain. Pretty crazy, huh? Think about that! There are receptors ALL OVER YOUR BODY to help us discover pain... but there are NONE in the brain! How do we even get migraines?! It’s a mystery even to top doctors in the world.
Sometimes our brains interpret the signals correctly, but we’re only human so sometimes the brain’s interpretation goes a bit haywire. The brain can simply “get the message wrong”, but that doesn’t make the pain any less real. In fact, the message or the perception of pain is just as important as the injury, event, or disease that is causing this pain.
What’s interesting about CBD is that it works both throughout the entire body AND in the brain. There are receptors on every major organ as well as in our brains. And because our brain makes CBD, we can use the plant-CBD just as readily as what we make ourselves. Naturally, the body uses CBD to “calm down” systems and help optimize body function, despite any pain we are feeling.
Better understanding how to treat pain + current trials with CBD = Hope.
We’re pretty stoked by the feedback we receive from physicians and physical therapists that we work with daily. We’ve seen firsthand how CBD can intercept pain-feedback-loops to improve pain management outcomes and can’t wait to see what other awesome things we learn along the way!
We’re confident that as research continues, even more evidence will come to light supporting daily use of CBD in chronic and acute pain management. Current evidence shows CBD is a non-toxic, plant-based, and natural option for your pain management plan.
While there is no good time to be in pain, if you are in pain, it’s a good time to have hope for relief using CBD in pain management.
Take Control.
